For the first time in Ghana history of making films, Shirley Frimpong Manso when for the novelty movie type with Adams Apple. According to critics, the 10 chapter movie series is a master piece of international standard.

Known for her perfect storyline, unique directing ability and production standard, after months in the doldrums was definitely back to make a statement; her attention to detail with the cast, the colours the scenes, where evedence of her know how and drive for perfection; every moments in the movie was spectacular and mind blowing especiall seeing such a well formatted piece coming from Ghana/West Africa. With Adams Apple, Shirley is certainly a force to reckon with in the Ghanaian movie industry and Africa in general.
